Mark Allison, 73, passed away during the morning hours of November 24, 2023, surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in Washington on December 12, 1949, to Adrain and Lillian (Engle) Allison.
Mark was a 1968 graduate of Washington Catholic High School where he excelled in basketball, baseball, Cross Country, and Track and Field. After attending Indiana University, he returned to run the family business, Allison Electric, in Washington.
Mark loved watching all kinds of sports and had enjoyed playing golf. But, he was happiest when he was spending time with his grandchildren.
Those who now mourn Mark's passing include: the mother of his children, Nancy (Beatty) Allison; his daughters, Jamie (Ryan) Muehling of Vernon Hills, Illinois, and Kristin (Shawn) McGuire of Washington. Mark was blessed with three grandchildren: Kaitlyn McGuire, Zach Muehling, and Jaxon Muehling. He leaves four siblings: Mike (Linda) Allison of Savannah, Georgia; Becky (John) Dayton of Washington; Jimmy (Pat) Allison in South Carolina; and Marybeth (Jim) Robinson of Indianapolis. Additionally, he leaves several nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, Lillian and Adrain Allison.

Visitation for Mark Allison will be 4:00-6:00 pm, Sunday, November 26, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington.
