Kyle Baker
February 27, 1988 - November 17, 2023

Kyle Lee Baker, 35, of Fort Dodge, Iowa passed away on Friday, November 17. A Visitation will be held on Monday November 27, 2023 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with a Vigil Prayer Service at 4:00 all at Laufersweiler Funeral Home.
Kyle is survived by his parents Dave and Molly Baker of Fort Dodge, his sister Beth Baker of West Des Moines, niece Remy Jane Holihan, Grandfather Dean Polking of Fort Dodge along with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by grandparents Gene and Millie Baker and Grandmother Lois Polking. Family was of utmost importance to Kyle and he cherished his role as Uncle Kyle to Remy.
Kyle was born on February 27, 1988 in Fort Dodge. He graduated from St. Edmond High School in 2006. He graduated from Iowa Central Community College and also attended the University of Northern Iowa and Buena Vista University. He was a long-time employee of the United States Postal Service where he served as clerk for a number of years.
Kyle was an avid reader of anything historical or biographical. He also loved anything sports related. The Iowa Hawkeyes, Green Bay Packers, and St. Louis Cardinals were his favorites. He was also a devoted NASCAR fan.
Kyle's quiet, gentle and unassuming nature will be missed by all. However, his legacy will live on through his organ donation to the Iowa Donor Network and to the University of Iowa Research Foundation.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family or to the Fort Dodge Public Library.
