"I first met my cousin Betty when I was in 7th or 8th grade. She moved across the street from my family. Her husband Gene was a good friend of my brother and family. In 1948 Betty and I took a trip to New York City to visit her aunt and I bought my wedding dress in New York. We kept in contact and my husband Joe and I were godparents for Tom. My thoughts and prayers are with the family. Mary Salz Koster (dictated to my daughter Ginny Koster Koch)"
