Travis Eugene Morris
June 5, 1975 - October 18, 2023

Travis Eugene Morris, 48, passed away peacefully with his family by his side during the afternoon of October 18, 2023. He was born in Washington on June 5, 1975, to Douglas "Doug" Eugene Morris and Teresa Ramsey. On February 24, 2001, he married Kristy Dawn (High) Morris and she survives.

A 1994 graduate of Washington High School, Travis was a professional commercial painter. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed deer and rabbit hunting, and fishing. He was a member of the B and C Kennel Club and Quails Unlimited. He attended the Assembly of God Church in Hardensburg. A true family man, Travis loved spending time with his family and friends.

Those who now mourn Travis' passing include his wife, Kristy Morris; his daughters: Bailey (Derrick Hall) Morris of Holland; Hannah (Jared Cooms) Morris of Petersburg; and Paisley Morris of Jasper; his mother, Teresa Braun of Washington, and his father, Doug (Cindy) Morris of Mt. Vernon, Kentucky. Travis was blessed with four grandchildren: Waylen Owen; Chezeny Morris; Kyrie Levasseur; and Weston Brown. Additionally, he leaves his maternal grandmother, Carolyn Armes of Washington, as well as a sister, Traci Pittsley of Webb City, Missouri, and brother, Corey (Amber) Hartley of Alfordsville.

Travis was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Charles Ramsey; paternal grandparents, Russel G. Morris and Margie Dunn, and uncle, Dan Ramsey.

Visitation for Travis Eugene Morris will be 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, Monday, October 23, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.

Funeral services for Travis Eugene Morris will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 23, 2023, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary. Pastor Jim Williams will officiate. Burial will be in the Sugarland Memory Gardens.
