Remembering Sue-
Mary Susan Nigro was born August 14, 1929, in Rochester. She attended Madison High School. Sue had 2 siblings, Anthony and Jesse. Anthony had a huge impact on Sue's life.

She and Anthony enjoyed traveling together with friends to Europe, China, Japan and Australia but Sue also went on adventures with "The Rosary Group", which was another group of friends that traveled together.

Sue was fashionable, vibrant and kind, quick to smile and laugh. She loved to bowl, and golf in her younger years. She wrote poetry, enjoyed crossword puzzles and playing Scrabble and watching Jeopardy. She was considered a gourmet cook and could cook almost anything.

Sue and Charlie met at a dance. Charlie was in the US Army during WWII. The two of them were married for 73 years when Charlie passed in June 2022.

Her closest and dearest friends, Sue Pape, Doris & Art Paliani, Joyce Eckert and Laberta Roberts will miss her kind, loving, caring, beautiful and fun presence.

A Poem written by Sue:
Together Again
How sad it is to say farewell
To those we hold so dear,
And yet we know that by and by,
Our own long journey is near.

We've laughed and love
And spent our days together in the sun,
We miss their touch and smiles and tears,
And love that made us one.

How quickly all the years flew by,
How sweet and shad and short,
And yet, how deeply etched those times forever in our hearts.

I do not know exactly when
My time to leave will come,
I know my loved ones
Will be near to help me home.
