Survived by her children, Amy (Stephen) Blowers, Ann (Stephen) Wallace, Margaret Paris, and John Paris; grandchildren, Chrissy (Norm) Dole, Tony (Tara) Vasta, Kate (Jamie) Georges, Marc (Chelsea) Vasta, and Laura (Reid) Litowitz; great-grandchildren, Emma, Nora, Annabelle, Christian, Natalie and Nico; sisters-in-law, Carmella (Patrick) Passero, Victoria Dispenza.
Predeceased by her husband, Anthony Paris; parents, Pasquale & Mary Maccallini; and sisters, Marina (Paul) Infantino, Gilda Maccallini.
Dolores was an avid bridge player, a solver of difficult sudoko puzzles, a wonderful cook, and a warm, gracious host. She was a volunteer at St Mary's Hospital and, after her successful struggle with breast cancer, was a voice for "Reach to Recovery", a breast cancer survivor group. Most important of all, Dolores was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be missed by all who knew her.
Special thanks to her end of life caregivers Kathy Bilbo and Linda Lindeman, who she referred to as her friends. Thanks to Hedija and Amra Kapic who always made sure Dolores had a home cooked meal on Friday nights. So many of our friends and family made time to visit Dolores in the past year. She appreciated your love and support, as do we.
Dolores' funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 21th at 10:00AM at St. Mary's Church (15 St Mary's Place, Rochester, NY). Memorial donations may be directed to the Ronald McDonald House (333 Westmoreland Dr, Rochester, NY).
