Brenda Griffith, 74, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, passed away on September 18, 2023. Memorial services are pending.
Brenda was born on August 21, 1949 in Strasburg, Pennsylvania, to parents Leo Sr. and Anne(Robinson) Smith.
Brenda had many happy years with her husband, Ed Griffith. She also operated an in-home daycare for twenty-two years.
Brenda enjoyed gardening, caring for flowers and indoor plants. She was quite the seamstress. She loved her animals and pets. She enjoyed caring for others and being with her family. Her and her husband enjoyed the outdoors together and loved taking the camper out.
Those left to cherish Brenda's memory include her sons John (Tayna) Smith and Terry (Ann Whitaker) Griffith; brothers Leo (Doris) Smith Jr., Johnny (Marlene) Smith, and Kerry Smith; as well as five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, Leo Sr. and Anne; her husband, Ed Griffith; and siblings; sister Nancy Knect; sister Linda McWilliams; and brother Robbie Smith.
