Paula (Bradley) Lawson
May 13, 1962 - August 25, 2023

On Friday, August 25, 2023, Paula Jean (Bradley) Lawson, 61, was called home by her Lord. Paula was a loving, caring, and devoted mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. Family was the most important part of Paula's life, especially her grandchildren. She was the greatest "Anna."

Paula was born on May 13, 1962, in Washington to Leonard and Ruth (Kilps) Bradley. She graduated from Washington Catholic High School in 1980. She was a graduate of Indiana State University in Terre Haute with a degree in Early Childhood Education. She pursued a career in teaching at Head Start in Bloomington. She was most recently employed at Cook Medical INC. She was a Bloomington resident.

Paula is survived by her mother, Ruth Bradley; her children: Sherelle Lawson; Jordan (Maurissa) Lawson; and Kensey Lawson, four grandchildren: Rylie Stephens; Karter Lawson; Kaiden Lawson; and Braden Lawson, siblings: Mary Lynn (Mark) Hedge; Theresa "Ann" (Gary) Klueh; Jane (Edward) Long; Steve Bradley; Joan (Carmin) Schnarr; and Lisa (Dale) Liles; and the father of her children, Mark Lawson.

Paula was preceded in death by her father, Leonard Bradley; brothers, David and John Bradley, and sister, Carolyn (Jeff) Crist.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ed L. Lee Mortuary to cover funeral expenses. Envelopes for donations will be available at the funeral home.

A memorial visitation for Paula Lawson will be 9:00-11:15 am, Friday, September 1, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am, Friday, September 1, 2023, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 315 NE 3rd Street, Washington. Father Paul Ferguson will be the celebrant.

Interment will be at a later date.
