Ron was born to Dean and Liz (Darrah) Bingham, on October 2, 1957 in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The family later moved when Ron was four to Colo, Iowa because his dad got a job in Nevada. He attended Colo School until 1972 and then attended Nevada School. Ron earned his GED in 1979. He married Lou Ann on February 14th, 1987 and they welcomed their boys James (1987) and Johnathon (1989). The couple later divorced but the shared love of their boys never kept them from loving each other.

Ron's pride and joy in life were his two sons, James and John. He was a loving and proud father. Ron shared his love for football and the Iowa Hawkeyes with his boys. He enjoyed working on old cars and going to car shows with long time friend Gary Flack. Ron had a great sense of humor and would often write short stories and poems. He had a love and passion for antiques. The last several years Ron was a caregiver and great help to his mother in Brownville, Nebraska.

Ron is survived by his two sons, James (Britney) Bingham, Johnathon (Julia) Bingham, Liz Bingham (mother), Warren (Gale) Bingham (brother), Rod Bingham (twin brother), Amy Bingham (sister), and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Dean Bingham.

Ron was taken too soon and will forever be in our hearts.
