Frank M. Smola
Greece: Passed away on June 29, 2023. Frank is predeceased by his parents, Stanley & Stephanie Smola. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Barbara J. Smola; sons, Mike (Karen), Steve (Debbie) & Daniel; grandchildren, Jared (Kellyn), Jordan (Jess), Tyler (Liz), Alex & Zach; 4 great-grandchildren; sister, Phyllis Szewczyk; several nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends; grandpups, Cody & Finch.
Frank was an avid biker, ice skater, and master craftsman. He was a lifetime Red Sox fan and enjoyed walking later in life. Frank loved creating & building things for his wife as well as Polka dancing with her. He adored his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and he will be deeply missed by his family.
Frank's life story will be shared during visitation, 4:00 -7:00 pm on Friday, July 7th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon on Saturday, July 8th at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 201 Main St, New York Mills, NY 13417. Interment in St. Mary's Cemetery in Clinton, NY. Memorial donations can be made in Frank's name to the Humane Society at Lollypop Farm, 99 Victor Rd, Fairport, NY 14450 or the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, 275 Lake Ave, Rochester, NY 14608.
