Kenneth James Walls
December 22, 1948 - May 18, 2023

Kenneth James Walls, 74, passed away at his Washington residence during the early morning hours of May 18, 2023. He was born in Washington, December 22, 1948, to Ernest L. and Ruth (Queen) Walls. On November 6, 1970, he married Patricia Lynn (Bateman) Walls, and she survives.

After high school, Kenneth served his country honorably in the United States Army. He was a Vietnam veteran. Before retirement, he was employed at the Naval Surface Warfare Center (commonly known as Crane) for thirty-two years where he was a supervisor. A devoted family man, Kenneth loved spending time with his grandchildren and his canine companion, Molly.

Those who now mourn Kenneth's passing include his wife, Patricia Lynn Walls; his children: Kirstie Ann Banks of Loogootee, Ryan James Walls of Bedford, and Jason Charles (Amanda) Walls of Washington. Kenneth was blessed with thirteen grandchildren: Chantel Henson; Mack Henson; Marcus Henson; Josie Henson; Chloe Walls; Nathan Walls; Abbie Richardson; Jacob Bowling; Bridget Welborn; Taylor Walls; Drew Walls; Cohen Walls, and Madi Walls. He leaves three siblings: Margaret Lundy, Norma (Larry) McCrary, and John (Nancy) Walls, all of Washington.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Ruth Walls; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Walls; brothers: Ernest Walls, Mike Walls, Larry Walls, and sisters: Virginia McFarland and Linda Daily.

Visitation for Kenneth James Walls will be 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Thursday, May 25, 2023, at the Sugarland Memory Gardens Mausoleum. A memorial service will immediately follow the visitation and begin at 12:00 pm, also in the Mausoleum. Pastor Jared Hemingway will officiate.
