James J. Salviski
May 6, 1942 - March 26, 2023

James "Jim" John Salviski, 80, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born May 6, 1942 to James and Genevieve Salviski in Niagara Falls, NY. Jim earned degrees from SUNY Buffalo and Syracuse University. He worked his entire career in the Syracuse City School District. He was a school principal at Danforth, Delaware, and Bellevue Schools, where he touched the lives of countless students and teachers.

Jim and his wife Betty retired to Trinity, FL, where they spent the last 19 years enjoying life together. Jim was an avid golfer, traveled with his wife, and enjoyed playing poker and cards with friends. He loved when his grandchildren came to visit, often taking them for joy rides in his golf cart. This made him happy and fulfilled.

A devoted husband, father, and grandfather, Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years, Elizabeth; sons, James (Jane), Thomas (Destiny), and Michael (Emmy); six grandchildren; brothers, John and Ronald; numerous nieces and nephews.

Interment will be in Trinity, FL. A celebration of life is planned for the family.
