One memory that has always stuck with me is when I left to start my first real job in Washington DC. That was 1974. He was waiting for me at the end of the block. Trying to talk me out of going and said I?d be back in a year. I never moved back. We lost touch after a few years. Your dad was a great athlete. Dennis "Denny" Bendinger, age 68, passed away on March 24, 2023, in Omaha, Nebraska.
Denny was born in Sioux City, IA to Warren Bendinger and Joann Bendinger.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Angie Bendinger.
Denny is survived by his daughters, Kayleigh (Luke) Kastrup and Breanne (Tony) Bendinger; grandchildren, TJ, Axel, Emitt, and Emily; siblings, Gary (Lori) Bendinger and Pam (Keith) McCawley; and a host of family and friends; honorary mentions, John Pulte, Marty Chamberlain, Jim Whalen, and Shantelle and family.
A Visitation will be held Monday, 3rd of April, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Good Shepherd Funeral Home's L Street Chapel.
