In loving memory of

Christopher "Chris" Jack Reasoner
June 1, 1951 - March 4, 2023

Christopher "Chris" Jack Reasoner of Phoenix, Arizona passed away on Saturday, March 4, 2023. He was 71 years old.

Chris was born June 1, 1951 in Flint, Michigan to Norma and the late Jack Reasoner. Chris was raised in Willoughby, Ohio with his four siblings: Julie Bolen, Vicki Weber, Kelly Reasoner, and Matt Reasoner. A graduate of South High class of 1969 and proud Rebel, Chris was a standout multisport athlete and loved by his classmates, including his wife and beloved gin partner, Claudia Mason. Claudia and Chris spent the last 10 years traveling, playing golf, reconnecting with friends, and reminiscing about growing up together.

Chris had a vast and incredibly successful career with Sysco Food Services, where he started sweeping warehouse floors on June 12, 1969 and ultimately worked his way up to President and CEO where he retired in 2005. After his retirement from Sysco, Chris moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and went on to work for NASCAR. If Chris hadn't spent his days working for Sysco or NASCAR, his dream was to be a professional baseball player--He was even drafted by the Detroit Tigers. Later, he even had the opportunity to experience going through training with the Cleveland Indians!

Besides chatting your ear off with his passion and love for Cleveland Sports (and Ohio State!), you would often find Chris sharing his love and bragging on the successes of his children, Justin Reasoner, Melissa Rost, Miranda Messineo, Harrison Reasoner, and Zachary Reasoner who he lovingly raised with their late mother, Gina Reasoner. He also shared enormous pride over his Grandchildren, Brittany Kennedy, Brooke Rost, Haden Reasoner, Noah Reasoner, and Owen Reasoner. He recently was promoted to great grandfather, with the birth of Cameron Kennedy.

Chris was a man who loved unconditionally and was willing to help any of his friends or family at a moment's notice. His infectious smile, mentorship, and love will be missed by all, near and far.

"My favorite memory of Chris is his love my Sister Claudia. He loved the evenings spent with Claudia watching, movies, playing gin, and Gummies!"
