"So many warm loving thoughts come to mind when I think of my Oma. Some of my greatest memories growing up, are with my Oma picking tomatoes from the garden in summer. My Oma made me feel so loved by how proud she was of me always. She was an amazing woman who loved her family and loved harder through her amazing cooking! It warms my heart knowing that you and Opa are back together again. I love and miss you Oma "

"I am so sorry for you and Renate?s loss. Your mom (and dad) were great people and I remember going to your house and the wonderful food your mom would make. My mom often spoke highly of her (and her cooking) and it was a blessing having her live down the street from us. Lorraine Geinitz Christie "

Monika Thompson wrote on Mar 21, 2023:

"My Mama is and was an amazing woman with such an adventurous life story. She loved her family more than anything else. Her smile would light up a room as pure joy beamed from her face. Mama loved to cook and you could not leave her house without something to eat or take home. There are so many things, foods, stories, and flowers, just everything that reminds me of her. She missed my father so very much after he passed. Now they are together again. I Love and Miss you Mama. "
