Phyllis Lymenstull

Phyllis J. Lymenstull, age 97, of Quincy, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Good Samaritan Home of Quincy.

Phyllis was born on August 18, 1925 in Quincy, Illinois the daughter of Claude and Ruth K. Landwehr Argust. Phyllis graduated from Quincy High School and was then employed as an assembler for Motorola Company for 20 years. She married Bertram Clem (Bert) Wienhoff in 1944 and had two children, Michael and Jerry Wienhoff. Following their divorce, she married Allie Lymenstull in October 1965 and had one child, Roger Lymenstull.

Survivors include: a son, Roger (Heather) Lymenstull with grandchildren, Parker and Amber Lymenstull of Oswego, IL; a son, Jerry (Lynn) Wienhoff of Pensacola, FL with grandson, Wayne (Lisa) Wienhoff of Navarre, FL (Great granddaughter Cherokee (Jason) Beck of Milton, FL)and grandson, Jason Wienhoff of Pensacola, FL; a stepson, Thomas (Susan Day) Lymenstull of Interlochen, MI with step granddaughter, Eva (Malachai Bandy) Lymenstull of Claremont, CA; a step granddaughter, Lara (David Kassab) Ervin (Step great grandson, YousifKassab) of San Jose, CA and a step granddaughter, Kris Ervin (Step great granddaughters Suzanna, Molly and Allison) of Brentwood, CA; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, Allie Lymenstull who passed away on August 6, 2012, Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, BertWienhoff, a son, Michael Wienhoff, a daughter-in-law, Betty Wienhoff, a step daughter, Sue Eastman (Ervin), a step son-in-law, Paul Eastman and two sisters, Joann Willing and Betty Everston.

Visitation: 9:00 to 11:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Hansen-Spear Funeral Home.

Service: 11:00 am on Saturday, March 18, 2023 with Chaplain Josh Vahle officiating.

Burial: Greenmount Cemetery, Quincy, Illinois.
