Shannon L. Wichman
September 5, 1970 - February 4, 2023

Shannon L. Wichman, 52, passed away with her parents at her side while at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis on February 4, 2023. She was born in Washington, September 5, 1970, to Philip L. and Cynthia D. (Moore) Wichman.

Shannon was employed at Wichman's Landscaping as a cashier. Known to be an avid reader, Shannon had numerous interests: Egyptology, history, and the paranormal, just to name a few. She had many good friends and was in communication with them daily. Most of all, she cherished her canine companion, Pax.

Those who mourn Shannon's passing include her parents, Cindy and Philip Wichman; brothers, Eric (Corry) Wichman and Matthew Wichman. Shannon had several beloved nieces and nephews: Hailey Wichman, Lilly Wichman, Abigail Wichman, Kylie Villanueva and Jaxon Villanueva. In addition, she leaves many aunts and uncles.

Shannon was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Reed and Dale (Smith) Moore and paternal grandparents, William and Josephine (Auberry) Wichman.

Visitation for Shannon L. Wichman will be 5:00 -8:00 pm, Monday, February 13, 2023, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Shannon L. Wichman will be celebrated at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church in Washington. Father Paul Ferguson will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the St. John Cemetery.
