"Chris and Carl Regali - We will always remember Uncle Mike as the kind, gentle soul that he was, always there to help when someone needed something. I remember him as a young child when he first came to the US and Mike and brother George bought me my first bicycle and other toys. He was a proud American and truly loved this country, as all of us immigrants do. The family that he and Aunt Maria raised should be proud of all that he accomplished through the years and know that he loved them dearly. I know that Michael, Heidi and Erika cherish him and will miss him dearly. They have been remarkable in tending to his needs and should be proud of what they have all accomplished in their lives. A business that was not just intended to provide, but one which he planned and hoped to pass to his children and grandchildren so they would be provided for. We will always remember your father for the very special person/uncle he was, He was always there for our mother and father as they transitioned to living in New York. He was always there for our mother/family after our father passed away, He was always there for our mother/family when she/we needed someone to lean on for guidance and moral support. He was someone that we looked up to and knew that he always had our best interest at heart and that he could be counted on. We will always remember with fondness his joy in singing with his sisters/brothers, in-laws at family celebrations and gatherings of the past. To us, he will always be remembered for his kindness, strong will, perseverance and all around someone that we looked up to. We mourn the loss of your father, our Uncle Mike.
