It is with deep sorrow and much love the family of Sandee Mundy announce her passing in Mesa, AZ on January 14th, 2023 at the age of 74.
She will be lovingly remembered by her sons Curtis (Michelle) Mundy, and Greg (Molly) Mundy, her grandchildren Brian, Ashley, and Mason and her siblings Patricia (Harvey), Sylvia, Vivian (Dennis), and Kent (Kathy).
Sandee joins the love of her life, her husband of 31 years, Brian, her brother Eugene (Patsy), and her parents Peter and Mary in Heaven.
Sandee grew up in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada where she went to nursing school at the Misericordia Hospital, and where she also started her nursing career. She met her husband Brian while attending nursing school, they would marry in 1972 and eventually settle in St. Albert to raise their family. Sandee nursed at the Misericordia Hospital up until 1994 when the family relocated to Phoenix, AZ. Sandee continued to nurse at Paradise Valley Hospital until her retirement in 2008. Sandee's greatest pleasure was spending time with her husband Brian, who sadly passed in 2004, as well as spending time with her grandchildren. Sandee loved to host holidays at her house, always feeding someone who couldn't be with family. Her caring nature and presence will be deeply missed.
A private service will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations may be made in Sandee's name to Hospice of the Valley in Phoenix, AZ.
