Floy Mae "Wiley" Pafford
Floy was born on July 29th, 1939, to Glen and Mildred Wiley and grew up in Canalou, Missouri.
Her family moved to Los Banos when she was in the 8th grade where she graduated from Los Banos High School.
It was at the Los Banos Church of Christ where she met Arland Pafford and the two were married on August 17th, 1957, when she was 18 years old.
After working in San Francisco while Arland finished Dental School, they moved to Firebaugh, CA and opened a private dental practice where Floy was Arland's assistant.
Together they raised three children: Evonna Jones "Kyle", Philip Pafford "Celeste" & David Pafford
They have nine grandchildren and two great grand-children with one on the way!
After Firebaugh, they lived in many places in California including Pamona, Chino, Fresno, Novato, Tehachapi and finally settling in Oakdale for over 30 years... and the last 10 years in the Ranchos of Madera.
It was in Oakdale where Floy became a Real Estate Agent and then went on to receive her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from Stanislaus State.
Floy Pafford passed away on January 13th, 2023, from complications associated with Breast Cancer.
Floy was 83 years old.
