Gary R. Van Fleet passed away January 6, 2023 in La Vista, Nebraska at the age of 67 years. He was born August 24, 1955 in Omaha, Nebraska.
Gary graduated from Ralston High School and was active in the Omaha local music community, playing in many different local bands including The Bozak & Morrissey Band. Gary's career revolved around automotive collision repair, retiring from Dingman's collision in 2020.
Gary is preceded in death by his parents, Hilton "HH" and Winifred "Winnie" Van Fleet and his daughter Christine Bagley.
He is survived by his daughters Hannah (Jason) Mares and Ashley (Shawn Sanders) Van Fleet; granddaughter Morgan Mares; grandsons Derek (Stacie) Bagley and Ryan Bagley; great-grandson DJ Bagley; brothers Larry (Deb) Van Fleet and Daryl (Wanda) Van Fleet; and nieces, a nephew, and other family.
