Louise "Skip" Robison, 67, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Thursday morning, January 5, 2023, at Genesis Medical Center, DeWitt Campus, DeWitt, Iowa.
A celebration of Skip's life will be held at 1:30 P.M., Monday, January 16, 2023 at Carson Celebration of Life in Maquoketa, Iowa. Visitation will be held prior to the funeral from 12 PM Noon to 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Maquoketa.
Louise Arlene Radtke was born on August 6, 1955 in Osseo, Minnesota to Norman and Genevieve (Krummel) Radtke. Skip drove truck with her father and brother for sixteen years through their family-owned and operated trucking company, Spirit Trucklines.
Those left to honor her memory include her children, Michelle Robison, and Michael Robison, both of Maquoketa, IA; a special niece whom she raised as a daughter, Angela (David) Patch of Roseville, IL; a sister, Lynn (John) Caldwell of Ft. Collins, CO; her grandchildren, Miles Robison, Joshua (Bree) Cowan, Jerrod (Sara) Cowan, Jenny (David) Brewster, Joslyn Cowan, Christian Lesones, Courtney Lesones, and Cassie Lesones; 9 great-grandchildren; nieces, Kim Hathaway and Jeannie Radtke; and several great-nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Radtke and Genevieve Radtke, a sister Laurie Karger, and a brother Larry Radtke.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a Louise "Skip" Robison memorial fund has been established.
