In loving memory of

Dale Vinton Bedenkop
November 6, 1933 - December 30, 2022

Dale Vinton Bedenkop loved his family, friends, and God. He was born on November 6, 1933 in Chesterton, Indiana and passed away peacefully on December 30, 2022. He was preceded in death by his bride and soulmate, Priscilla, who welcomed him home on what would have been their 66th wedding anniversary. Dale is survived by son Greg (Diane) Bedenkop, daughters Julie (Don) Kesteloot and Kristin (Frank) Foulger along with seven grandchildren and one great granddaughter. Dale was a 1955 graduate of Colorado A&M (now Colorado State) as a Civil Engineer. Following graduation he served in the United States Coast and Geodetic Survey division of the Navy. Prompted to propose from a San Francisco dock on news of his upcoming deployment, he and Prill even spent their 1st year of marriage living in Hawaii!
He will be remembered, among other things, for his passion for the outdoors and travel, friendly, social nature, great smile, intellect, and love of music and dogs. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday February 4, 2023 at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary and Cemetery - 6500 E Bell Rd Scottsdale, AZ 85254. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Valley at http://www.hov.org/donate
