Robert Quintanar
April 1, 1955 - December 23, 2022

Robert Quintanar, 67, a long time resident of Gilroy, CA., passed away on December 23, 2022 in Modesto, CA.



Robert was born on April 1, 1955 in Harlingen, TX to Jose and Eva Quintanar.
Robert met his beautiful wife Alicia in 1975. They later married in August of 1976. They enjoyed their life together in their humble home in Gilroy, CA. Later in 1979 they welcomed their first daughter Claudia followed by their second daughter Angelica born in 1981.
Years later in November of 1999 Robert and his family made their permanent move to Los Banos, CA.
Robert worked at Hospira until his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed retired life very much. It gave him the opportunity to spend more time with his wife, his daughters and his 2 grandsons. You could always catch Robert on any given Sunday watching the Dallas Cowboys game on tv or on a warm summer day grilling some ribs in his back yard, listening to his favorite music and enjoying a cold can of Bud Light.
Robert loved his family with all his heart and lived for his daughters and grandsons. He will be truly missed and remembered everyday by his friends and family.
He is preceded in death by his mother Eva Quintanar, father Jose Quintanar, brother Raul Quintanar and sister Olga Calderon.
Robert is survived by his wife Alicia Quintanar, daughters Angelica Quintanar and Claudia Martinez, son-in-law Daniel Martinez and his 2 beloved grandsons Kaleb Martinez and Mason Martinez. As well as by his brothers, sister and many nieces and nephews.
