She was born in Washington on July 9, 1945, to Delos and Dorothy (Padgett) Cissell. On December 7, 1963, she married the love of her life, Dennis Jenne, Sr. Together, they created a loving home for their three children.

Rebecca had been employed at Eastgate Manor where she was a housekeeper for twenty-nine years.

Rebecca enjoyed going for walks and loved watching Western movies. However, she was happiest when spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the Vincennes Avenue Wesleyan Church in Washington, and taught Sunday School there for several years.

Those who mourn Rebecca's passing include her husband, Dennis Jenne, Sr.; son, Dennis (Diana) Jenne, Jr. of Washington; and daughter, Gloria (Allen) Williams of Vincennes. Rebecca's beloved grandchildren are: Dennis "DJ" Jenne III; Shane Jenne; Eli Jenne; Alex Jenne; Chelsea (Ryan) Scott; and Brianna Jenne. She leaves four great-grandchildren.

Rebecca knew the sorrow that comes with loss with the passing of her parents, Delos and Dorothy Cissell; an infant daughter, Dorothy Shane Jenne; an infant grandson, Brandon Lee Jenne; and siblings: Patty Shelton; Walter Cissell; Reverend John Cissell; Donald Cissell; Wilbur Cissell; Linda Murray; and Eva Chadd.
