"Good bye one of the coolest, sweetest and loving ladies that I have ever known in my 69 years of life. I think that I was 6 or 7 years old and my mom called you her best friend. Dear Carmen you were always there when someone needed a hand, never giving it a second thought. You always had a good attitude about life and perked me up with the sound of your laugh, your never ending ,sometimes funny, sometimes sad and always interesting stories. The love for you from our family starts from the youngest little ones, teens, in betweens and those who knew you the longest. Thank you Carmen for teaching me to make tortillas, the look in your eyes as I rolled them out was priceless. It was a proud moment for you, Eddie and I. There are so many great times that we spent with you and both Eddie and I will never forget you. We love you MUCHO. Rest in Peace, knowing that you are loved and remembered by so many. You are one classy lady."

"Carmen, you will be greatly missed. You have not only been a longtime friend of the family, but a member of the family. Thank you for all the endless good times together. I've always believed Hollywood missed out by not discovering you as a witty comedian/actress. Till we see each other again. Until then our patience and perseverance prepares all of us for "The Real Life" .
Always with love and fond memories, Carlos M."
