Anne Christine Sanchez
June 12, 1949 - December 16, 2022

Anne Christine Sanchez, better known as "Chris" by her family and friends passed away on December 16, 2022. She was born on June 12, 1949 in Akron, OH and was adopted by George Dewey Harris and Alta Bonney Harris (Merritt). Her family moved to Arizona when she was around seven years old. She was involved in choir and musicals in school and was also a member of the Rainbow Girls. Chris attended Northern Arizona University from 1967-1969 and then obtained her LPN certification from Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, AZ. She worked as a nurse at several valley hospitals including approximately 26 years at the VA Medical Center where she worked in nursing and then later in payroll and timekeeping before retiring.

Chris really enjoyed the outdoors and camping. She had a great love for Basset Hounds and had several as pets throughout her life. Chris had a strong faith and was a devoted member of Saint Andrew's Parish. She cared deeply for her family and was a very proud Grandmother.

Chris is predeceased by her Father-George Dewey Harris, Mother-Alta Bonney Harris (Merritt), Brother-John Harris, Sister-Katherine Harris, and her husband of 25 years Angel Sanchez. She is survived by her two Daughters-Katherine Holt and Amanda Sanchez as well as her Son-in-law Rowdy Holt, Brother-Andrew Harris, Sister-in-law Stephanie Harris, three Grandchildren-Ashley, Josh and Amelie and two Nieces-Hannah and Georgia.

A Requiem Mass will be held on January 4, 2023 at 10:30am at Saint Andrew's Parish 8433 N 12th Street Phoenix, AZ 85020 with a luncheon to follow. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
