Joseph Troy Shelton, Sr
April 30, 1960 - December 10, 2022
Joseph Troy Shelton, Sr. passed away at the age of 62 on December 10th, 2022, in Phoenix AZ. He was the husband of Salina Shelton. They shared 20 years together. Born in Lancaster CA., he was the son of John Wilson Shelton Sr. and Judith Laurette Stigers (Duntley).
He was a graduate of Churchill County High School and had attended school for certifications in Project Management and Estimation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, working, and spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his great sense of humor, his big heart, and his willingness to help anyone in need.
He is survived by his mother Judy, his brother John Jr., his wife Salina, his son and daughter-in-law, Joe Jr. and Rebecca Shelton, his daughter and son-in-law, Lauren and Richard Harrison, his step children, Eric, Ricky, Angelica, and Franky, and his 12
grandchildren, Vittoria, Lily, Zoei, Manual, Christian, Benjamin, Conner, Lucy, Vincent, Mia, Erika, and David.
There will be a celebration of life in Phoenix, AZ. after the holidays, for family and friends in that area, and a separate celebration of life will be held in Fallon, NV., where he was from, in the spring for. Joe wanted his ashes to be spread on Mt. Callahan, near Austin, NV. where he spent many seasons hunting and camping with family and loved ones.
