Mary Patricia (Pat) McLaughlin passed away peacefully on December 2, 2022, at the age of 103.
Pat was born to William and Cornelia St. Clair on June 26, 1919, in Evanston, Illinois. Pat graduated from Immaculata High School in 1937 and attended Mundelein College, both in Chicago. After college Pat worked as a publicist for ABC radio until she met the love of her life John (Jack) Mclaughlin. Pat and Jack married in 1950 and raised three children, John, Patty, and Susie in Barrington Hills, Illinois. Upon retirement Pat and Jack moved to Tucson, Arizona where they enjoyed playing golf and traveling with friends. When not on the golf course Pat was "always in the kitchen".
Pat was preceded in death by her husband Jack to whom she was married for 50 years. Also preceded by sisters Harriet McClellan and Rita Marshall and brothers William St. Clair and Richard St. Clair. Pat is survived by son John McLaughlin (Sue), and daughters Patty Benyi (Dave), and Susie Anderson (Bruce), as well as 6 grandchildren, Evin and Ryan McLaughlin, Caitlin and Matt Benyi, Jeff and Emily (Eischen) Anderson, as well as 2 great grandchildren, Jack Eischen and Rhys Benyi.
Pat will be interred at Holy Hope Cemetery in Tucson, Arizona along side her loving husband Jack. Back together again for all eternity.
