Richard Ray Brown was born to Otis and Collonteen Brown on September 17, 1956 in Omaha, Nebraska. He peacefully passed away on November 28,2022 in his sleep.
In 1975 Richard graduated from Technical High School, where he was proud Trojan for life. While in High School Richard was into basketball where he was a standout player. After high school he joined the United States Navy. His time with the Navy was cut short when he was injured early his career. Coming home from the United States Navy, Richard worked various jobs through his lifetime. His last job was with Omaha Public Schools where he was a security guard.
Richard was the life of the party and loved to get dressed in his Stacy Adams and Stetson hat. He had a love for playing pool and dominos. He was a Nebraska Cornhusker fan and would support them no matter what.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents Otis and Collonteen Brown and brother Sylvester Bennett.
He leaves to cherish in his memory daughters Dunina (Tristan) Padilla of Omaha, NE and Mi'Chon Brown of Nashville, TN. Sister Sondra Brown of Omaha, NE. God sister Robin Hudson of Omaha, Ne. Niece Renee (Darrell) Thompson and God nephew DeMario Shanklin all from Omaha, NE. Five grandchildren Angelique and Mya Padilla of Omaha, Ne. Brenden and Chandyn McGary and Nova Brown of Nashville, TN. Great Nephew Deltier Phelps and Great Niece Denierka Wright. A host of great nieces, great nephews and friends to cherish his memory.
