Robert Schneller
January 24, 1941 - December 3, 2022

Robert (Bob) Schneller was born on January 24, 1941 in Denison, Iowa to Henry and Hilda (Gregosches) Schneller.

He graduated from Denison High School in 1959. On September 17, 1961, he married Myrna Kay Eggers. They were blessed with two children, Laurie and Greg.

Bob was employed at Farmland for 40 years, retiring in January 2000. Before moving to Florida, Bob enjoyed fishing year-round, hunting pheasants/quail/geese, gardening and planting a variety of flowers each Spring. Bob and his family enjoyed traveling the U.S. during summer vacations and abroad with friends.

Bob always loved being with family, cooking for them and making sure everyone was well fed. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were his pride and joy. He enjoyed sitting on his front porch, visiting and joking with those passing by. He enjoyed catching up on the neighborhood news during his morning bike ride.

Bob lived in Punta Gorda, Florida and passed away in Hospice in nearby Port Charlotte on December 3, 2022 at the age of 81 years, 10 months and 9 days.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Lorraine Aschinger, Delores Dohse, Emmy Lou McComb and brother Henry Schneller. He is survived by his wife Myrna, daughter Laurie (Mark) Lashier, son Greg (Melanie) Schneller, grandchildren Chelsea (Wesley) Oglesby, Caitlin (Grant) Kawata, Keenan (fiancé Julia) Lashier, Mackenzie (Tristan) Schneller-Watts, and Danielle Schneller, great grandchildren Lottie and Kit Oglesby, Jack, Max and June Kawata, brother Ronald (Dorothy) Schneller, sister-in-law Pat Schneller and brother-in-law Kay McComb, also many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
