Rhonda Jean Danford, 58, passed away at her Washington residence in the early morning hours of November 29, 2022. She was born June 27, 1964, in Paoli, Indiana, to Donald and Betty (Dinkens) Roland. On April 29, 2006, she married Barry Danford, and he survives.
Rhonda was employed at Bill and Betty's Pizzeria where she was in charge of food preparations. A true outdoors lover, she enjoyed camping and fishing and was also an avid Bingo player. Rhonda was a member of the Eagles and the United Methodist Church in Hudsonville.
Those who now mourn Rhonda's passing include her husband, Barry Danford; and her stepchildren: Barry Danford, Jr. of Medaryville; Destiny (Thomas) Cardinal; Brayton (Bethany) Danford; and Kade (Arian) Danford all of Washington. Rhonda was blessed with fifteen grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Coming from a large family, she leaves three sisters: Tammy (Terry) Byers of Montgomery; Tina (Bob) Clark and April (Darrin) Roland all of Washington; and Debbie and John Brand of Laurinburg, North Carolina and Marlene Newton in Florida.
During her lifetime, Rhonda mourned the loss of her parents, Donald and Betty Roland; her brothers, Danny Roland and Kip Baker; and her sister, Darlene Glass.
A graveside service for Rhonda Jean Danford will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, December 7, 2022, at the Sugarland Memory Gardens in Washington. Those serving as pallbearers are: Matthew Hall; Austin Roland; Kade Danford; Travis Davis; Dillion Duncan; Kai Hall and Brenna Wolf.
