Sally Cortez
July 22, 1957 - November 21, 2022

Sally Cortez, a longtime resident of Los Banos passed away in Modesto, CA on November 21, 2022, at the age of 65. Sally was born July 22, 1957, to Ralph and Ophelia Salas in Selma, California. She worked as a Teacher's Aide for LBUSD for 24 years.
Sally was a hardworking, loving, kindhearted soul to anyone and everyone. Her wise, caring, fun personality never missed a chance to hang out with family and friends. She had great love for her family and friends and life is something we have been blessed to have experienced with her.
She was gentle yet honest person no matter if you get upset or not, she was going to say what she felt with the best intentions. Sally enjoyed being with her grandkids always. She always said, "My grandkids keep me going".
She loved family gathering, spending time with friends and was always ready to help even if you didn't ask. She would always say "Do you need anything or need me to take anything". Sally would just do anything for you. Those are just a few things I know we will remember and missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents Ralph and Ophelia Salas, daughter in law Elberta Lee Cortez and son in law Odin Perez.
Sally is survived by her loving husband Julian Sierra Cortez, children: Julian Edward Cortez, Cecilia Isabel Rincon and Lydia Inez Cortez, eight grandchildren: Matthew Ross, Angelyss Inez Rincon, Edward Rincon Jr., Isiah Odin Perez, Julian Adrian Cortez, Andrew Julian Cortez, Noah Perez and Davin Isaac Cortez and many family and friends.
