John Leith Kronenberg
January 2, 1946 - November 9, 2022

Carefree - John Leith Kronenberg, 76, of Carefree, AZ passed away on November 9, 2022. John was the beloved husband of Kristin Kemper for almost 53 years. He is survived by his brother, Arthur Edward, Jr., and his wife, Karen Olson, his son, Andrew Leith and Tammy (McKinley), his daughter Kirsten Armbruster (Kronenberg), and John David Armbruster, and his grandchildren, Megan and Alexander Kronenberg. John was born January 2, 1946 in Milwaukee, WI to Arthur Edward and Margaret (Johnstone) Kronenberg. He earned his B.A. (Economics) from Dartmouth College in 1967 and his M.B.A. (Finance) from Washington University (St. Louis, MO) in 1970. He met Kristin there and they were married in 1970. After returning to Milwaukee, John joined First Wisconsin National Bank and worked in the investment department. He was the manager of fixed income for many years. Then he joined a small financial planning firm and taught financial strategies to prepare students for the Financial Planning exams. In 2001, he and Kristin retired and moved to Carefree. John was a talented musician and enjoyed playing symphonic and popular band music with community bands in Milwaukee and Phoenix. His favorite music was jazz. He found his niche at Scottsdale Community College for ten years where he learned and played in a jazz big band and combos. Also, he wrote and arranged jazz music.
