Wade Alton Carter Sr., 74, of Sands, MI, died unexpectedly on November 19, 2022. The family is deeply saddened and shocked by Wade's sudden death.

He poured his heart and soul into the business and made many friends along the way. Everyone who knew Wade knew how much he loved being in the garage. In addition to owning Sand's Auto, Wade was passionate about singing karaoke, and could often be found with a Pepsi in his hand at the local bar with his friends, singing his favorite country songs.

Wade was preceded in death by his mother and father; brothers, Gordan and Terry Carter; and his son, Warren Allen Carter.

A celebration of Wade's life will be held at the Happy Hour Bar in Gwinn on Saturday, November 26, 2022 from 2 until 5 p.m.

Every time I smell the hard work of car repairs I am filled with memories of the garage on Washington St. I will forever hear your voice in my head when I look at my little brother and call him Turkey Butt. I hope you are having a good time singing and dancing your heart out! Love Giggles"
