Mainor Josue Guillen
August 22, 1987 - November 9, 2022

Mainor Josue Guillen (A.K.A. DJ Smooth) passed away at the age of 35 years old after a fatal accident. Mainor was born in 1987 in Los Angeles California. Mainor is the Child of Salvadoran parents, Jorge Alberto Guillen and Dina Elizabeth Guillen. Mainor continues to be loved by his older siblings, Jorge Guillen Jr., Gissela Delery, Manuel Guillen, and younger siblings, AnthonyGuillen, and Irving Guillen. Mainor was born August 22, 1987 in Los Angeles California, and he was a miracle baby. Mainor was born with hydrocephalus, and was told he would never walk. Mainor beat the odds, and overcame adversity, as he always does.

In high school, Mainor was always the top of his class. He was honor roll, student of the month, on the track team, varsity soccer team, marching band, choir, and more. Mainor was a helper, and always did his best to help the sick, by volunteering, and serving in multiple health care facilities, and taking care of the elderly.

As an adult, he fell deeper in love with music, his family, and a desire to live life to the fullest. Mainor was a well-known DJ in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area, and played for weddings, parties, events, and festivals. He had a love for Salsa, Merengue, Bachata, Afrobeats, Amapiano and more. Mainor also loved soccer, and he loved his team. Mainor was always doing things that made him happy, and he was genuine, authentic, and great.

Mainor impacted every person he met, and was a great friend to many. Mainor raised children that were not his own, and did everything he could to love them. Mainor is loved by many, and impacted so many people. He will never be forgotten, and we know he is dancing in heaven.

In expressing condolences, so many have said what a kind, loving, fun, generous and genuine spirit he will always be remembered for. Mainor lit up the room with his bright goals, lovely smile, and his enthusiastic attitude which will leave an impact for years to come.

A Celebration of Life will be held on November 26th from 9pm-2am at the Ainsworth in downtown Phoenix. There will be a visitation on December 5th from 5pm-8pm, and Funeral on December 6th from 10AM with a reception to follow at the Grand Ave Reception Hall from 2pm-7pm.

Mainor Josue Guillén (A.K.A. DJ Smooth) falleció a la edad de 35 años luego de un fatal accidente. Mainor nació en 1987 en Los Ángeles California. Mainor es hijo de padres salvadoreños, Jorge Alberto Guillén y Dina Elizabeth Guillén. Mainor sigue siendo amado por sus hermanos mayores, Jorge Guillén Jr., Gissela Delery, Manuel Guillén, y sus hermanos menores, Anthony Guillén e Irving Guillén. Mainor nació el 22 de agosto de 1987 en Los Ángeles, California, y fue un bebé milagroso. Mainor nació con hidrocefalia y le dijeron que nunca volvería a caminar. Mainor venció las probabilidades y superó la adversidad, como siempre lo hace.

En la escuela secundaria, Mainor siempre fue el mejor de su clase. Estuvo en el cuadro de honor, estudiante del mes, en el equipo de atletismo, equipo universitario de fútbol, banda de marcha, coro y más. Mainor era un ayudante y siempre hizo todo lo posible para ayudar a los enfermos, ofreciéndose como voluntario, sirviendo en múltiples centros de atención médica y cuidando a los ancianos.

Como adulto, se enamoró más profundamente de la música, su familia y el deseo de vivir la vida al máximo. Mainor era un DJ muy conocido en el área metropolitana de Phoenix y tocaba en bodas, fiestas, eventos y festivales. Le encantaba la salsa, el merengue, la bachata, los afrobeats, el amapiano y más. Mainor también amaba el fútbol y amaba a su equipo. Mainor siempre estaba haciendo cosas que lo hacían feliz, y era genuino, auténtico y genial.

Mainor impactó a todas las personas que conoció y fue un gran amigo para muchos. Mainor crió hijos que no eran suyos e hizo todo lo posible por amarlos. Mainor es amado por muchos e impactó a muchas personas. Nunca será olvidado, y sabemos que está bailando en el cielo.

Al expresar sus condolencias, muchos han dicho que siempre será recordado por su espíritu amable, amoroso, divertido, generoso y genuino. Mainor iluminó la sala con sus brillantes objetivos, su encantadora sonrisa y su actitud entusiasta que dejará un impacto en los años venideros.

Una celebración de la vida se llevará a cabo el 26 de noviembre de 9 p. m. a 2 a. m. en el Ainsworth en el centro de Phoenix. Habrá un velorio el 5 de diciembre de 5:00 p. m. a 8:00 p. m., y un funeral el 6 de diciembre a partir de las 10:00 a. m. con una recepción a continuación en el Grand Ave Reception Hall de 2:00 p. m. a 7:00 p.
