"So sorry to hear of Gib?s passing? He was a great stepfather to me for 20 years. I?ll always remember the trips he and my mom would take to visit whether I was stationed in Texas, California or Germany, serving in our U.S. Air Force. Reflecting back, I?ll always cherish memories of having a beer while working on his truck whenever I was back in town or remembering his amazement as he looked up from the bottom of the Eiffel Tower, mystified at its stature. Memories did not always have to involve travel, simply going for a swim in their backyard pool to beat the Midwest humidity, or watching a Husker game was enjoyable. During all these events, Gibby would always have that infectious laugh that would resonate tenfold and make you smile. May he rest in peace and be able to hug Lance once again. ?"
