PEORIA - Penny Bosecker, age 82, of Peoria, IL, passed away on Saturday November 12, 2022 at Lutheran Hillside Village.
Penny was born on December 7, 1939, in Clinton, IL, the daughter of Fred Meachum, Jr. and Mary Ellyn Gilmore Meachum. Penny married James M. Kyle on 1/31/59, in Peoria, IL, they divorced in 1973. She married Harold "Bo" Bosecker on May 5, 1977 in Miami, FL.
Penny is survived by her daughters, Mary Sloan and Kelly & (Mark) Flessner and son, BJ & (Crystal) Kyle; grandchildren, Blake Sloan, Brooke Sloan, Liz (Sal) Salaita, Ryan (Laura) Flessner, Kyle (Amanda) Flessner, Tyler (Rachel) Flessner, Joshua (Kelsey) Kyle, Rachel (Pat) Alger and 17 Great Grandchildren.
Penny was preceded in death by her husband, parents and brother Fred "Pete" Meachum, III.
Penny worked at Loblolly Pines Country Club in Hobe Sound, FL.
Penny and Bo spent many years residing in Jensen Beach, Florida. She was a talented artist.
Penny was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Bartonville, IL. She was a resident of Lutheran Hillside Village the past 7 years.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Lutheran Hillside Village.
