In loving memory of

Michael Dennis Myers
September 8, 1939 - November 9, 2022

Michael Dennis Myers, age 83 passed away on Wednesday, November 9, 2022, he was born on September 8, 1939, in Iowa City Iowa, to the late Cecil Warren Myers and Beulah Edwards Myers.

After graduating from Onslow High School, in Onslow Iowa, he proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He came to Lafayette Indiana in 1977 to work at A.E. Staley after Penick & Ford closed its doors in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He remained at A.E. Staley (now known as Tate and Lyle) until his retirement in 2009. He was a very faithful Christian, and a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in West Lafayette Indiana.

He was first married to Mary Varner Myers until her death in 1985. They had two daughters: Denise Myers, and Jill Myers, and one son: Kevin (Donna) Myers.

In 1993 he Married Sherron Jones, to whom he was the most loving, faithful, and caring husband a wife could ever have. With that union he gained two step-daughters: Christina (Tim) Rice, and Kimberly (Roby) Wilson.

Along with his wife Sherron, and his children and step-daughters he is survived by Seven Grand-Children, Four Step-Grandchildren, Six Great-Grand-Children, Two Step Great-Grand Children, Step-Father-In-Law Robert McKee, three Sisters-In-Law: Glenna Nevitt, Melinda (Philip) Gillespie and Stephanie (Richard) England, Two Brothers-In-Law: Ronnie (Polly) Jones, and Willie (Debbie) Jones.

He is also survived by many cousins, Nieces, Nephews, Extended Family, and Special Friends, whom he loved dearly.
Along with his mother, father, and first wife Mary, he is also preceded in death by a sister: Mildred "Fay" Myers, Brothers: Cecil "Wayne" Myers, Gerald Dean Myers, and three baby brothers.

Visitation for Michael will be held on Monday November 14, 2022, from 5-8 PM, at Soller-Baker Funeral Home, 400 Twyckenham Blvd, Lafayette, IN. Services will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Tuesday November 15, 2022, at Our Saviour Lutheran Church, 300 W Fowler Ave, West Lafayette, IN.

Graveside Service for family and friends will be held at 10 A.M., Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Pence Cemetery, Baldwin IA.

In leu of flowers, those wishing, may contribute in Michael's name to "Our Saviour Lutheran Church" or the American Cancer Society.
