Judith A. Eye, 66, of Maquoketa, Iowa, passed away on Sunday, November 6, 2022, at the Jackson County Regional Health Center in Maquoketa, Iowa.

Public Graveside Services and Burial celebrating her life will be held at 2 P.M., Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at South Mineral Cemetery, rural Onslow, Iowa. Cremation rites will be accorded following a private family visitation. The Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa is caring for the family.

Judith Ann Shady was born on September 7, 1956 in Maquoketa, Iowa, to Clayton, Sr. and Betty (Evers) Shady. She grew up in Monmouth and Maquoketa and earned her GED from Maquoketa High School. She married Leroy Eye Sr. and they later divorced. She then married Larry Wayne Eye on December 8, 1986 in Maquoketa, Iowa. He preceded her in death on February 27, 2002.

Judith had worked as a bookkeeper at Jack N' Jill Grocery Store in Maquoketa for several years. She then worked at Lowe's in Dubuque, Plastics Unlimited and WALMART in Maquoketa. She retired from Casey's General Store in Maquoketa.
Judith enjoyed playing and spending time with her grandchildren and great nieces and nephews, taking care of her flower bed, puzzle books, and watching soap operas, especially General Hospital.

Those left to honor her memory include her children, Leroy Eye of Neillsville, WI, and Eric (Alyssa) Eye of Winfield, IA; 4 grandchildren, Alex, Rebecca, Dalton and Quinn; and siblings, Dixie (Kendall) Hensler of Neillsville, WI, Melinda (Jerry) Sterbanz of Cuba City, WI, Clayton (Susan) Shady of Unionville, MO, Debra Shady of Maquoketa, IA, Lawrence "Mike" (Korene) Shady of Maquoketa, IA, and Janet Streets of Maquoketa, IA; and bonus sister, Julie Keil of Oxford Junction, IA. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Larry, and a sister Susan DuBois.
