In loving memory of

Jeannine Leeds
December 5, 1957 - October 29, 2022

Jeannine Marie Leeds, age 64, of Cleveland, Tennessee, formerly of Quincy, died on Saturday, October 29, 2022, at 3:20 pm in her home.

Jeannine was born December 5, 1957 in Hannibal, Missouri, the daughter of Gene and Joan Wiley Carroll. She married Gary H. Leeds on July 3, 1976 in Quincy, Illinois. He survives.

Jeannine was a graduate of Palmyra High School in Palmyra, Missouri. She was a stay at home mom, who took great joy in raising her family. She later worked in the stockroom at J.C. Penney at the Quincy Mall. Jeannine was a church youth group leader and Awana leader at Calvary Baptist Church in Quincy.

Jeannine had a goofy sense of humor, loved Christmas, and enjoyed taking care of people. If you ever had the opportunity to try her homemade rolls and cookies, you know they were delicious and filled with love.

She was devoted to her family, and she loved her children and was very proud of them all. Jeannine took great joy in spoiling her seven grandchildren and showering them with her love. She liked to say, "What happens at Grandma's, stays at Grandma's!"

Survivors in addition to her husband, Gary, include four children, Brandi (Rob) Pihl of Arlington Heights, IL, Tim (Sarah) Leeds of Spring Hill, TN, A.J. (Shannon) Leeds of Alpharetta, GA, Anna Leeds of McKinney, TX; seven grandchildren, Jake and Josh Pihl of Arlington Heights, Victoria Leeds of Spring Hill, Lillian and Lucas Leeds of Alpharetta, and Simon and Sephora Tomczyk of McKinney; two sisters, Gloria (Larry) Coleman of Hannibal, MO, and Janet (Gary) White of Emden, MO; a brother, Graylen (Marilyn) Carroll of Trenton, TN; and nieces and nephews.
