Clayton Lyle Nobiling
September 2, 1941 - October 12, 2022

Clayton Lyle Nobiling, age 81, of Denison, formerly of Westside, passed away on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Gracewell-Eventide Lutheran Home in Denison.

Clayton was born on September 2, 1941 in Carroll, Iowa, he was the son of Elmer and Eva (Fischer) Nobiling. He grew up in the Westside area and was baptized in Peace Lutheran Church in Wall Lake and transferred to Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia where he's been a faithful member for many years.

He was a full-time client at Wesco Industries in Denison for over 53 years, along with his dear friend David Lohmeier. Clayton has been with the program since his younger years and was proud of his work in the Pallet area until it was removed from Wesco. He was always able to tell his family how many pallets he did that day or week. He also enjoyed going places with his friends from Wesco and being able to help out on the farm.

He is survived by his siblings: Lee Nobiling of Council Bluffs, Edna Hansman of Westside, Karen Onken of Jamaica, Iowa, and Dale (Roxanne) Nobiling of Council Bluffs; brother-in-law, Roy J Stewart of Finksburg, Maryland; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, cousins, friends, and his Wesco family.

Clayton was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Eva Nobiling; sister, Ruth Stewart; brother, David Nobiling (at birth); niece, Carol Hansman; nephews: Ben and Jamie Nobiling; brothers-in-law: Don Hansman and Doyle Onken; and sister-in-law, Luetta Nobiling.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2022 with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. all at Zion Lutheran Church in Arcadia. Interment will be in Westside Cemetery in Westside. Memorials may be directed to the family.

The family would like to extend a special and heartfelt thank you to Dr. Ingram and his staff, Gracewell - Eventide Nursing Home, WESCO, Zion Lutheran Ladies Aid, Pastor Ben Dose and Huebner Funeral Home.
