In loving memory of

Delores Ann Jepsen
February 17, 1942 - September 22, 2022

Delores Ann (Dottie) Jepsen (Richmond), age 80, passed away on September 22, 2022 in Phoenix, Arizona. She was the wife of Dale E. Jepsen. They shared 43 years of marriage together.

Born in Kansas City Missouri, she was the adopted daughter of Harvey and Viola Richmond. She had attended Washington and Central high schools in Phoenix. She was retired from work at several insurance companies in Phoenix and Scottsdale.

She is survived by husband Dale, son Matthew Roberts (Jared Stafkey), brother Dennis Richmond (Cindy), niece Gretchen Roberts, nephew Jedidiah Richmond and his son Joel. She was predeceased by her parents, Harvey and Viola Richmond.

Dottie's family lived in various small towns in Kansas until they moved to Phoenix in 1958. Dottie and Dale were fortunate to have traveled to several destinations in Alaska, Canada, Hawaii, Mexico, Europe, the Mediterranean Sea, the Caribbean Sea and the South Pacific. They also traveled periodically to Kansas to visit Dottie's relatives and enjoyed numerous trips to Lake Tahoe.

Dottie and Dale also enjoyed many official, and unofficial, gatherings with friends from the Air National Guard where Dale had served for 30 years.

She and Dale were very supportive of son Matthew's horse training business and enjoyed watching he and his clients compete at numerous horse shows in Arizona and California.

After retirement they took several trips in their RV and spent their summers in San Diego either in the RV or, for the last 5 years in a cute little house in Coronado.

Sweet. Kind. Thoughtful. She was loved dearly.

The funeral service will be held on October 3rd at 3:00 PM at Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85254. The visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to the time of the services.
