Steven F. White, 74, of Peoria, passed away at 8:42 pm, Monday, September 12, 2022 at his residence. He was born on July 26, 1948 in Canton to Francis Lee and Elsie Pauline (Garzee) White. They preceded him in death along with one sister. Surviving are three children; Troy White, Tammy (Troy) Hammer and Tim (Becca) White, one sister Sandra Lee, fourteen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Steven worked at the Canton Water Department from 1972-2002. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Canton. Steven volunteered at the First Baptist Church Food Pantry and Sophia's Soup Kitchen in Peoria.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory is in charge of arrangements. Memorials can be made to either Sophia's Soup Kitchen or the First Baptist Church Food Pantry. To leave online condolences, please visit www.oakshinesfuneralhome.com.

"I remember Steve over the years from working at the food pantry. I know his children and his former wife Sally. I worked with his mother also at the food pantry years ago. Steve was a really funny guy and he enjoyed what he was doing at the food pantry. Steve brought smiles ,joy and laughter to people when they needed it most."
