Phillip J. Morrison, 73, passed away August 23, 2022. He was born in Washington, March 30, 1949, to Harold J. and Mary Margaret (Waltz) Morrison.

Phillip was a graduate of Indiana University having obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Business. For several years, he was the co-owner of Plainville Machine and Die; later, he retired from Johnson Controls where he was a manager. He was an accomplished pilot who flew twin engine airplanes and loved traveling. He was a member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church.

Coming from a large family, Phillip leaves five siblings: Robert J. Morrison of Clarksville, Tennessee; Carol (Marc) Buickel of Columbus, Indiana; John J. Morrison of Washington; Susan (Ron) Mattingly of Fairhope, Alabama; and Mark J. (Carrie) Morrison of Dallas, Texas. Additionally, he leaves several nieces and nephews, as well as several great-nieces and nephews.

Phillip was preceded in death by his parents, Harold J. and Mary Margaret Morrison.

Visitation for Phillip J. Morrison will be Friday, September 2, 2022, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm, at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, 620 East Viola Avenue, Washington, Indiana.

Funeral services for Phillip J. Morrison will be held immediately following the visitation, also at the Ed L. Lee Mortuary, North Chapel, beginning at 1:00 pm. Yvonne Evans will officiate.

Interment will be in the St. John Cemetery.
