"Al, you were truly a great friend. I was so thankful to reconnect with you after almost 50 years of living our separate lives. I'll always remember the afternoon last year when you, me and Tans sat out in your driveway reliving our younger days. I only regret not being able to keep our lunch date at the Blue Ridge diner following our discussion that afternoon. Steve Matties "

"Tans and family. My heart breaks for you. I have great memories of Snoopy going back to my childhood and Snoopy just being there and making us laugh. I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. I hope the wonderful memories that you made carry you all through the difficult days ahead. Lee and Bee"
