Joanne Gale Fitzgerald Green was born May 18, 1942 in Fremont, Ohio, one of five children. She married the love of her life, Doug Green, who preceded her in death in 2013. She is survived by her four children, Mason Green, Scott Green, Robin Yeargain (husband Carl) and Chris Green (wife Shannon Marie), her six grandchildren, KC Yeargain (wife Michelle), Sydney Yeargain, Tyler Green, Logan Green, Riley Green and Addie Green and her three brothers Dick Fitzgerald, Dennis Fitzgerald (wife Sharon) and Fred Fitzgerald (wife Linda) who also recently lost their sister, Sheila Long.
Joanne/Jo/Meme was known for her cooking, baking, shopping, clogging, trap shooting and Christmas collection, as well as sharing her many "Memeism" statements. She loved being with family and was kind to everyone she met. She passed peacefully August 18, 2022.
Services will be held at 10 A.M. on August 27, 2022 at Hansen Desert Hills Mortuary, 6500 E Bell Road, Scottsdale, AZ 85254.
