Judith Gay Kiefer
August 22, 1944 - August 5, 2022

Judith Gay Kiefer, 77, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, August 5, 2022. She was the wife/widow of William Kiefer. They shared 39 years of marriage together.

Judi was born in Galesburg, Illinois on August 22, 1944. She was the daughter of Janice and Raymond Swanson. She graduated from Galesburg High School in 1962. She later raised her children in Colorado. She worked as a travel agent and then started her own business, Rainbow Travel. Judi and Bill settled down in Peoria, Arizona in 1998.

She was a member of Dove of the Desert United Methodist Church. She enjoyed traveling, visiting family and friends, scrap booking and dancing. She will be remembered for a multitude of things, but most importantly for her heart, smile, kindness, faith, and ability to make everyone feel loved.

She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law; Jim Swanson and Pam Swanson, her children (and their spouses); Stacy Orcutt (Scott Orcutt) and Jon Polson (Kim Polson), her stepsons (and their spouses); Todd Kiefer (Monja Kiefer) and Chad Kiefer (Ellie Kiefer), her grandchildren (and their spouses); Bailey Orcutt, Jake Polson, Ty Polson, Kai Kiefer, Jordan Kiefer, Savannah Kiefer, Madison Kiefer, Carol Hall (Michael Hall), Romi Hufford (Daniel Hufford), and Alexander Kiefer, and her great grandchildren; Jaxson Hall, Grayson Hall, Carter Hufford, and Carson Hufford. Also survived by Rhett Polson (her first husband and father to her two children), her many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Swanson.

A Celebration of her life will be held on September 17, 2022, at 1:00 pm at the Swanson farm. 705 Knox Road 1850N Galesburg, IL 61401
