"Where do I begin?I grew up in Anton and went to school with him until he graduated 8th grade. He was a quiet kid and never got in trouble. Because he always wore glasses was probably why. He had a long and difficult life and at least had you Gene. Prayers for your family and condolences on his passing. He never had a mean bone in his body. My mother often picked him on the caves road and brought him back to Maquoketa. She said he was always appreciative!"
