In loving memory of

THERESA L. LARSH
June 24, 1927 - August 9, 2022

Theresa L. Larsh, 95, of Beaver Grove, was called home by the Lord on August 9, 2022. She had been residing at Trillium Hospice House since June 2021.

Theresa was born in New Swanzy to Silas and Louise (Tousignant) Moquin on June 24, 1927, which was their 15th wedding anniversary. She graduated from Gwinn High School in 1945. She spent a summer working in Detroit while still in high school.

She was united in marriage to the late William J. "Bill" Larsh Sr. in Gwinn on September 23, 1946 while he was home on leave from the Army. Together they raised their four sons in a supportive neighborhood in Beaver Grove with families that became lifelong friends. When Bill became ill in 1981, she became his loving caretaker until his death in July of 1983.

Theresa was a founding member of the St. Louis the King Catholic Church and loved her Church family. She belonged to the Altar Society for many years. She enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her family and the Beaver Grove "Grovers" families, including the Youngs, Baldwins, Goodwins, Georgiannis and Gorieskys. She enjoyed her Debbie Tour Bus trips with her friend, Joanne. She was so thankful for the friendship and help from the Carlsons, Hamaris and as she called them, "her three special angels" Paulita, Polly and Pat. She will be remembered for her quirky sense of humor, teasing her grandchildren, kind heartedness and always more concerned about others before herself. Her boys will remember her as "short and sassy." She had a tremendous memory for her 95 years.

Theresa is survived by her loving sons, Bill (JoDee) Larsh of Marquette, Al (June) Larsh of Ishpeming, Larry (Kim) Larsh of Three Rivers, MI and Dave (Stacey) Larsh of Emmitt, MI; 14 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Theresa was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years; her parents; brother, Silas Moquin and his former wives, Kay and Anne; brother, Bert and his wife, Avila; her father-in-law and mother-in-law; and her Aunt Mary and Uncle Ted.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Louis the King Catholic Church on Tuesday, August 16th at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Glenn Theoret officiating. Visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass. A reception will immediately follow in the Father Gauthier Hall. Burial will take place in the Gwinn Cemetery later in the week. Pallbearers will be her loving grandchildren.

The Larsh family would like to thank the Trillium Hospice House and U.P. Home Health & Hospice staff and volunteers. A special thank you to FNP, Erika Kielhorn and Dr. Catherine Kroll for their exceptional care and friendship they provided.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Theresa's name to the Trillium Hospice House, 1144 Northland Drive, Marquette, MI 49855.

"Bill, Alan, Larry and Dave. My sympathy for the loss of your mom. I sure enjoyed the visits with her and June when I took my mom to visit. She was such an awesome lady. Witty and always caring about others. I just learned today she passed and won?t be able to make the funeral but I will donate to the trillium house in her honor. Please know my thoughts are with you. Her and my mom will have a happy reunion. Love Jean Armatti"
